This is one instance of a gentleman who is a senior citizen. The couple had lost their son who was suffering from terminal disease. The daughter-in-law who was selfish realizing the benefits left the senior citizen forever completely losing the relationship. The senior citizen who had a daughter was also ill-fated, the daughter got the first divorce, then again married another person who turned out be worse than the first one, the daughter committed suicide leaving behind a three year old daughter. After long self-debate, the gentleman thought himself to have a companion to have social, physical and moral support, decided to give life to a widow by marriage and approached Parihaar Foundation.
A girl from North Karnataka lost her husband within one and half year due to heart disease. She could not remarry due to family and society restrictions as well she had to take care of their parents. The brothers of widow in spite of trying to get another match could not get the right one, as the widow was not well educated and because of the financial constraint. The widow is now almost 52 years, struggling her life without social, moral and financial security. The widow approached Parihaar Foundation for support. Parihaar match made the senior citizen mentioned in the first part of fact to the above widow. Though the caste came in between, both the parties were convinced and the marriage is fixed.
