Nadahalli Sripada Rao , founder and managing trustee of ‘PARIVARTHANA’(Transformation), a trust promoting welfare of widows. Sripada Rao has written novels on widow marriages and to set an example has married himself a widow who had child. Parivarthana has conducted more than twenty successful marriages. The trust has produced a feature Kannada film called “HOOMALE” based on widow marriage. The film directed by ace film maker Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar, music scored by maestro Dr Ilayaraja, title song sung by Padmabhushan Dr Rajakumar, story-screen play and main role enacted by Ramesh Aravind.
